Neuroaffirming Environment
We are proud to be a neuro-affirming school, celebrating neurological diversity (Autism, ADHD, etc.) by focusing on each child’s strengths, unique communication, and intrinsic ways of being, rather than to “normalize” them to neurotypical standards; it involves adapting the environment, respecting sensory needs (like stimming), providing ample processing time, and using child-led, strengths-based goals for authentic growth, fostering self-esteem and true inclusion for children.
