Registration Information

The 2026/2027 school year registration will open to new families on January 20th, 2026. This information is for tuition-based enrollment. GSRP enrollment has a separate process, including registration through Oakland Schools. Please contact us for more information.

September 2026 – June 2027

  • Online registration will available for the 2026-2027 school year beginning in January 2026. Please go to somersetacaemy.org and select “Registration” at the top.
  • Prior to registering, we encourage new parents to call and set up a day to tour the desired program. Our staff will guide you in selecting the program and schedule that best meets your child’s developmental needs.
  • In accordance with state licensing requirements, children must be 2-1/2 years of age to attend. Preschool children may start the school year late, once they turn 2 1/2, up until 11/3/26. In the Preschool program, a child is not required to be toilet trained to be eligible for placement.
  • Beginning Tuesday, January 13th, currently enrolled and returning families may submit registration forms and be placed in their desired schedules according to the order in which the registration is submitted.
  • Registration will open to new families on Tuesday, January 20th , 2026.
  • A $125.00 non-refundable registration fee per family must be submitted within one week of completing the online registration form. This fee is required each year when enrolling.
  • We offer flexible schedules to support the needs of your child and family. Any combination of mornings (9-12), afternoons (1-4), and full day sessions (9-4) may be arranged subject to availability. To support a child’s adjustment to school and learning environment, a minimum of two half day sessions is required. Children must be 3 and up for full day sessions.
  • Children staying for a full day will have a lunch period from 12:00 pm – 12:30 pm, and a rest period from 12:30 pm – 1:00 pm. Lunches are parent provided. *Somerset Academy is a nut restricted environment. Napping children may continue sleeping into the afternoon session.
  • Schedule changes – We urge all families to consider their child’s schedule carefully. Due to the demand for placement of sessions at Somerset Academy, one schedule change is afforded to families prior to July 1st subject to availability at that time. After July 1st a $50.00 fee will be applied to any additional schedule change, if availability exists, to cover administration costs.
  • Discounts are provided to families with more than one child enrolled during the same school year. Scholarships are also available by request.
